Do You Know Jesus?

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (1 Corinthians 5:17)

Do You Know HimRehab, willpower, inner strength, sponsors and 12-step programs help you on your journey to recovery. But NOTHING can replace the victory and freedom that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Are you ready to take this step toward forgiveness, healing, grace and TOTAL transformation?

Loving Heavenly Father,

In Jesus’ Name and in humble obedience I come before Your throne of grace asking for wisdom and courage to overcome the battle that is seeking to destroy my life through drug/alcohol addiction and misuse. Please remove false comfort and hope in treatments such as methadone, suboxone, steroids and other prescription and illegal drugs.

Please forgive me for my sins and the life I have lived. I need your forgiveness. I understand that drug use and addictions are schemes Satan uses to lie, deceive, destroy and give false hope. I thank You Father, that You call me out of darkness into the marvelous and glorious light of Your Son, my Savior and Deliverer Jesus Christ. Through Jesus’ death on the cross Satan was overcome and every stronghold was demolished. Through Jesus you give abundant and eternal life with You.

Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I turn from my sins and submit to You. Please come into my life, and become Lord of my life.

Teach me to use the Bible, prayer and faith to put on the full armor of God, so that I can take my stand against the devil’s schemes. (Ephesian 6:10-17)  Lord Jesus You are Truth, and You said,  “You will know the truth and the Truth will set you free!”

I thank you Lord, that You have a plan for my life. Transform my life so that I bring glory and honor to you alone, and not myself. Show me how to bring the Good News of Salvation and the Kingdom to others who are broken and captives of sin.

Thank you for dying and giving me eternal life.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
